Living for Restauration

Training of PastorS & leADERS

It was the Holy Spirit who led us into this calling. Wherever we are, we bring pastors and leaders together and teach them from the Word of God. As many spiritual leaders have no training at all and very little knowledge, it is often the basics that we teach: new life, the Holy Spirit, faith and so on. Often, even the most basic knowledge is lacking, as formal training is not possible. We pray for the baptism in the Spirit, both with and for leaders, so that they may work in the Kingdom of God through the power of the Spirit.

PropheCY in Seminars & AT Conferences

Not only overseas, but also in Europe, the subject of ‘prophecy’ is little known to many Christians. In East Africa, where the Lord has placed us, we teach in seminars and at conferences about what the Bible has to say on prophecy. We delve deeply into the truth about the gift of prophecy and the ‘office’ of the prophet. We also place great importance on practical exercises through activation, so that believers learn how to engage with prophecy. Edification, encouragement and comfort – these are the guiding principles we instil.Added to this is the prophetic ministry to the local people.

Restauration of All Things

The Acts of the Apostles [literally: The Deeds of the Apostles] is not a history book. It serves as a model for everyday life as a Christian and as a church. Yet our view of it, our perception of it, is obscured.

Paul prayed for the church in Ephesus that the eyes of the believers’ hearts might be enlightened, so that they might see spiritual reality.

Much has become ‘normal’ in the life of a Christian, yet it is not normal at all. Much of what is normal in the Word of God now sounds like heresy or has become repulsive.

More than anyone else, the Lord of Lords longs for the restoration of all things to the Kingdom of God. It is our task to teach about this, in order to bring believers back to God’s normal.

Transformation into the image of Christ

Silence! Learning to perceive the Son of God who dwells within us. Keeping the goal of transformation through God’s presence in mind and allowing this lifelong process to unfold.

There are many examples in the Bible where God reveals Himself in silence, or where He calls His children into silence. Silence is not the absence of sound; it is focusing on the One, on His voice, His promptings. It is practising anew the perception of heaven.

Many long for a genuine and profound encounter with the almighty God. Unfortunately, this does not happen amidst noise and clamour, but in silence, and sometimes in solitude, without distraction. In our time, this place must be sought out. This requires practice, and also discipline.

Living for Restauration

So turn your hearts now … so that times of refreshment may come from the presence of the Lord. … Christ Jesus … times of restoration for all things. [Acts 3:19–21]

Times of renewal come to us through the Holy Spirit when we change our way of thinking, turning away from ourselves and towards Jesus. The Holy Spirit renews us; He fills us anew time and again so that, in Him, we may do the works of the Kingdom. The ultimate goal here is the ‘restoration of all things’. This is the divine purpose: that everything may be restored as it was in God’s plan from the beginning.

First and foremost, our relationship with the Father, with Dad, who, as born-again believers, has begotten us through His Word. We are His children. ‘Father, child, brother, sister’ – these are not merely religious terms that one uses casually. This is reality. As a child, I have exactly the same DNA as my Father and as my older brother, Jesus. I belong to God’s family, and I have brothers and sisters all over the world. The blood of Jesus binds me to these precious people. I don’t have to prove that I belong; I do belong. SELA.

The Beauty of EastAfrica

Flowering bushes and trees, colourful birds with beautiful songs, sweet fruit – that is nature in East Africa.

Cheerful faces, open hearts, colourful clothes, hospitality – that is the people of East Africa.

Dusty roads, hungry children, sick adults, day labourers, unemployed young people – this is the economy in Uganda.
